Terms & Conditions
This contract governs the use of the official website of Amazing Galápagos Travel (“the Agency”) and the purchase conditions of its travel services. By browsing the website or booking a service, the user fully accepts these terms.
Use of the website & services
- Intermediary agent. The Agency acts solely as an intermediary between passengers and final service providers (airlines, boats, hotels and restaurants).
- Legal age. The website and services are intended exclusively for legal adults with the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
- Modifications. The Agency reserves the right to modify the website and these terms at any time without prior notice.
Reservations & deposits
Advance bookings
To secure a booking more than 15 days in advance, a 50% non-refundable deposit of the total price is required. The remaining 50% must be paid at least 15 days before the tour start date.
Last-minute bookings
Any booking made within 15 days prior to the tour departure requires an immediate 100% full payment.
- Exceptions. Payment deadlines and percentages may vary depending on the specific service or provider. Any modifications will be negotiated in writing directly with the passenger.
Cancellation policy
If the client decides to cancel the tour for personal reasons, the following fees apply based on the date the written cancellation notice is received:
- Flights & delays. The Agency is not responsible for refunds of services lost due to airline delays or cancellations. Remaining activities will be rescheduled based on availability.
- Extreme events (force majeure). In the event of tsunamis, terrorist attacks, strikes, weather factors, health restrictions, or National Park closures, the Agency will not issue refunds. Activities will be rescheduled for a later date.
Responsibility & ownership
- Luggage. The Agency is not liable for the loss, theft or damage of personal items during the tour. Safekeeping remains the passenger's responsibility.
- Intellectual property. All website content (logos, text, images, code) belongs to the Agency and is protected by international laws. Commercial use by third parties is prohibited.
- Technical failures. The Agency does not guarantee uninterrupted website availability and is not liable for any software damage or viruses on the user's device.
Your data
- In compliance with the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection of Ecuador, the Agency guarantees that collected data will only be used for booking management and informative services.
- Cookies. The website uses cookies to improve user experience anonymously. Users can disable them through their browser settings.
